Whether it’s a new boiler replacement, combi for combi, or a new combi boiler installation – where you have an old conventional boiler or system boiler and need to adapt your system.
You can get a full gas central heating system installed from top to bottom including gas pipe, heating pipes, radiators, and boiler.
New boiler installations are covered for 12 months on a landlords gas safety check, no need for a new certificate until your old one runs out.
You could save up to 40% on your gas bills, with a new A-rated condensing combi boiler.
The amount you save will depend on the age and efficiency of your old boiler.
Typically, the older your boiler, the more money you will save on your gas bills with a new energy efficient boiler.
You will get advice as to which new combi boiler will be best for you and your home.
But, if you have a different boiler in mind, you can also choose any boiler make and model you want.
We will then give you a free fixed price boiler installation quote for your chosen boiler.
Your full heating system will be flushed out when you have a new boiler installation.
It is recommended to have a magnetic filter fitted to your heating system after it has been flushed.
A magnetic filter is normally fitted on the return pipe under the boiler. It protects your heating system from the build-up of iron oxide and sludge inside your radiators, pipes, and boiler parts.
This sludge is a major cause of boiler breakdowns – it can clog up parts on boilers and can also cause radiators to not heat up properly.
The magnetic filter can be cleaned out when your combi boiler is serviced, or, you can also do it yourself.
Magnetic filters can help to make your boiler run smoothly and last longer.
Along with condensing combi boilers, heating controls are a great way to help you save money on your gas bills.
They also reduce carbon emissions produced by your boiler – helping to make your home that little bit greener.
Thermostatic radiator valves (TRV’s) are simple controls that are fitted to radiators. You can turn them down or off to control the heat in each room.
TRV’s are almost always fitted by plumbers on new radiator installations now.
Wireless room thermostats are available with all new combi boiler installations.
You simply turn the control up or down to set the temperature from anywhere in your home.
The boiler will then keep your home at the set temperature.
Some room thermostats come with timers, so you can set the heating to come on and off at certain times.
These are called programmable thermostats. Or, if you want, you can have two separate controls – a thermostat and a timer.
Smart Thermostats – Control your heating from your smartphone or tablet after downloading the app.
From the smart thermostats app, you can turn the heating on from work, or when you are on your way home, so your house is nice and warm for when you get home.
Also, you can set the heating to come on and turn off whenever you need it to. Like when you wake up in the morning, or for when you get home from work.
At home, you can turn the temperature up and down from your smartphone or tablet from anywhere in your home.
New combi boilers always come with a manufacturer’s parts and labour warranty. Boiler manufacturers, like Ideal, Baxi, Worcester-Bosch, and Vaillant, will come to your home and replace any parts, free of charge, if it ever breaks down and you need a boiler repair.
